KPS1.5-40J25 is a plastic spur gear with a module of 1.5, 40 teeth, and a 25 mm finished bore, made from MC901 nylon. It has a 20° pressure angle, standard full-depth teeth, and a tooth hardness of 115~120 HRR. The gear has a pitch diameter of 60 mm, outside diameter of 63 mm, face width of 15 mm, and hub width of 10 mm. The hub is keyed to JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance, with a set screw included. The allowable torque is 0.51 N·m. Dimensional stability is affected by temperature and humidity, and the gear is recommended for use with steel gears to avoid heat generation without lubrication. Backlash values are theoretical and for identical gear pairs in mesh.
