The KPS1.5 series comprises plastic spur gears with a module of 1.5, 20° pressure angle, and standard full-depth teeth made of MC901 nylon. The gear has 40 teeth, a pitch diameter of 60 mm, an outside diameter of 63 mm, a face width of 15 mm, and a hub width of 10 mm. The bore diameter is 12 mm with JIS B1301 Js9 tolerance, and a set screw is included. The allowable torque is 0.51 N·m. Precision is rated as JIS grade N9 (equivalent to S1). These gears are unsuitable for secondary operations due to dimensional sensitivity to temperature and humidity. They are recommended for use with steel gears to avoid heat generation from friction in dry operation.
