KPS1.5-16J8 is a plastic spur gear in the KPS Module 1.5 series, made of MC901 nylon with a 20° pressure angle and standard full-depth teeth, precision grade JIS N9 (equivalent to S1). It has 16 teeth, a 20mm pitch diameter, a 24mm outside diameter, a 15mm face width, and a 10mm hub width with a finished 8mm bore. The gear is 25mm long overall and accepts an M5 shaft keyway. Allowable torque is rated at 0.16 N·m with a maximum backlash of 0.010mm under normal conditions. Dimensional stability may be affected by temperature or humidity changes, and operation without lubrication is discouraged.
