KPS1 series plastic spur gears are made of MC901 material with a 20° pressure angle and standard full-depth teeth, conforming to JIS B1702-1:1998 precision grade N9. The KPS1-48J18 variant has 48 teeth, a 10 mm face width, a 35 mm hub length, and a 5 mm diameter keyway for a 6 x 2.8 mm set screw. It has a 48 mm pitch diameter, 50 mm outside diameter, and a total length of 50 mm. Backlash is rated at 0~0.34 mm, with an allowable torque of 0.19 N·m and an allowable thrust load of 0 N·m. The part includes a set screw and is designed for use with steel mating gears to avoid heat generation. Tapped holes are rated for maximum tightening torques of 0.12 N·m for M4 and 0.38 N·m for M5.
