The KPS1 series consists of plastic spur gears made from MC901 material with a 20° pressure angle and standard full-depth teeth, designed for use in mechanical power transmission. The gear has a module of 1, 48 teeth, an outside diameter of 50 mm, a face width of 10 mm, and a hub width of 20 mm. The bore is keyed according to JIS B1301, Js9 tolerance, and accommodates a 6 x 2.8 mm keyway with an M5 set screw. Maximum allowable torque is 0.19 N·m. Backlash is specified as 0~0.34 mm. Precision meets JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1:1998). The gear requires lubrication when paired with other plastic gears to prevent heat and dilation. Four variants with 48 teeth and J-series keyways are listed, including KPS1-48J17.
