KPS1-40J10 is a module 1, 40-tooth plastic spur gear made of MC901 nylon with a 10 mm bore, 35 mm hub diameter, 40 mm pitch diameter, 42 mm outside diameter, 10 mm face width, and 20 mm total length. It features a keyway with dimensions 4 mm × 1.8 mm and a set screw for M4. The gear has an allowable torque of 1.48 N·m (0.15 kgf·m) and a theoretical backlash of 0 to 0.34 mm. It adheres to JIS B1702-1:1998 precision grade N9, equivalent to S1, and has a 20° pressure angle with standard full-depth teeth. The product is designed for use with steel gears to prevent heat buildup from dry operation.
