The KNSU3 series consists of plastic spur gears with a steel core, designed for high torque applications and dimensional stability under temperature variation. The gear has a module of 3, 44 teeth, a 20° pressure angle, and is made from MC602ST nylon with an S45C steel core. It has a bore diameter of 70 mm, pitch diameter of 132 mm, outside diameter of 138 mm, face width of 30 mm, and total length of 47 mm. The allowable torque is 54.0 N·m (5.51 kgf·m), with precision rated to JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 5 (JIS B1702:1976). The backlash is 0~0.56 mm. The gear uses a diamond-knurled steel core for enhanced bonding strength with the nylon hub, eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners. Product weight is 0.54 kg. Attention is advised regarding thermal and moisture effects on dimensions during secondary operations.
