Plastic spur gears with a steel core, available in module 3, feature a 35-tooth design, a 75 mm outside diameter, and a 60 mm bore. The gear is made of MC602ST nylon fused to an S45C steel core using a diamond knurling process for high holding strength. It has a 20° pressure angle, full-depth teeth, and meets JIS grade N9 precision (JIS B1702-1:1998). The allowable torque is 4.13 N·m (0.42 kgf·m), with a backlash of 0 to 0.56 mm. The design ensures dimensional stability across temperature variations and eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners.
