The gear is rated for an allowable torque of 31.3 N·m (3.19 kgf·m) with a backlash of 0 to 0.48 mm and complies with JIS grade N9 (JIS B1702-1: 1998). The core is made from S45C steel, and the gear material is MC602ST nylon with a diamond-knurled interface for enhanced bonding.
