The KNSU1.5 series consists of plastic spur gears with a steel core, module 1.5, JIS grade N9 precision, standard full-depth teeth, and a 20° pressure angle. The KNSU1.5-36 variant has 36 teeth, a 33 mm pitch diameter, a 54 mm outside diameter, a 15 mm face width, and a 12 mm hub width. It features a 33 mm bore, a 27 mm total length, and an allowable torque of 5.07 N·m (0.52 kgf·m) with a theoretical backlash of 0~0.40 mm. The gear is made of MC602ST nylon fused to an S45C steel core, with a weight of 0.20 kg.
