KMBSA6-2040L is a left-handed spiral bevel gear with a module of 6, 20 teeth, and a finished bore, designed for metric applications. It has a bore diameter of 105 mm, an outside diameter of 132.04 mm, a total length of 150 mm, and a crown-to-back length of 64 mm. The gear is made from SCM415 steel with overall carburizing and a tooth hardness of 55-60 HRC. It meets JIS B 1704:1978 grade 4 precision standards, with a 20° pressure angle and a 35° helix angle. The mounting hole pattern is 2-M10, and the keyway tolerance follows JIS Js9, though heat treatment may cause slight deviations. Secondary machining is not permitted due to carburizing, and axial thrust forces are generated during operation. The gear is designed for use with taper pins to absorb rotational loads, not mounting screws alone.
