Nissei ground spiral bevel gears in the KKSP series, with module 4, 36 teeth, right-hand helix, and a plain bore, are made of SCM420 with overall carburizing heat treatment, achieving 60-63 HRC tooth hardness. The gears meet JIS B 1704:1978 Grade 0 precision standards, have a 20° pressure angle and 35° helix angle, and produce axial thrust forces. No secondary operations are permitted due to the carburizing process. The gear has a 144 mm pitch diameter, 60 mm face width, 39 mm bore, 40.5 mm hub width, and weighs 2.34 kg with a 0.05-0.10 mm allowable backlash.
