Module 3 ground helical gear with 44 teeth, left-handed helix, made of SCM440 steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces (50-60 HRC), conforming to JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976), with a transverse pressure angle of 20° and a helix angle of 21°30'. The gear has a pitch diameter of 132 mm, an outside diameter of 138 mm, a face width of 25 mm, a hub diameter of 80 mm, and a total length of 41 mm. It has a theoretical backlash of 0.14-0.24 mm. Secondary operations on the tooth area are not permitted due to induction hardening.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
