Module 3 ground helical gear with 35 teeth, right-hand helix, SCM440 material, induction hardened tooth surface at 50-60 HRC, JIS grade N6 precision, 21°30' helix angle, 20° transverse pressure angle, and a 35 mm bore. Face width is 25 mm, total length is 41 mm, and backlash ranges from 0.14 to 0.24 mm. The gear produces axial thrust forces and is not interchangeable with KSH type helical gears. Secondary operations on the tooth area are not permitted due to induction hardening.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
