Made from SCM440 steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50~60 HRC, it meets JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976) precision standards. The helix angle is 21°30', the transverse pressure angle is 20°, and backlash ranges from 0.12 to 0.22 mm. Allowable torque is 348 N·m for bending strength and 369 N·m for surface durability, with a total length of 41 mm.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
