Module 3 ground helical gear with 22 teeth, left-hand helix, and a bore diameter of 28 mm, designed for use with matching right-hand gears. The gear is made of SCM440 steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC, meets JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) precision standards, and has a 21°30′ helix angle and 20° transverse pressure angle. The product is non-interchangeable with KSH-type helical gears and generates axial thrust forces. Secondary operations on the tooth surface are prohibited due to induction hardening. Dimensions include a pitch diameter of 54 mm, outside diameter of 66 mm, face width of 25 mm, hub width of 16 mm, and total length of 41 mm. Theoretical normal backlash is 0.12-0.22 mm.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
