Features a 21°30' helix angle, 20° transverse pressure angle, standard full-depth teeth, and JIS grade N6 precision per JIS B1702-1:1998. Specifies an allowable torque of 1030 N·m (105 kgf·m) for bending strength and 35.0 N·m for surface durability. Backlash ranges from 0.14 to 0.24 mm. All dimensions are based on a module 2 helical gear design with 16 mm face width and 29 mm total length. Axial thrust forces are generated, and no secondary operations are permitted on hardened tooth areas.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction.
