Ground helical gear with module 2, 80 teeth, left-hand helix, and a 40 mm bore. The gear is made of SCM440 steel with induction-hardened teeth at 50-60 HRC, has a 21°30′ helix angle, 20° transverse pressure angle, and meets JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) or JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976). The face width is 16 mm, pitch diameter is 160 mm, outside diameter is 164 mm, and hub width is 29 mm. The allowable torque is 799 N·m (81.4 kgf·m) for surface durability, with a backlash of 0.14-0.24 mm. Axial thrust forces are generated and secondary operations on tooth areas are prohibited due to hardness. The bore dimension of 40 mm distinguishes this variant from other KKHG2 series gears.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction.
