Module 2 ground helical gear with 60 teeth, left-handed helix, 25 mm bore, 16 mm face width, and 13 mm hub width. Material is SCM440 with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC. Precision grade meets JIS B1702-1:1998 Grade N6 and JIS B1702:1976 Grade 2. Normal module is 2, transverse pressure angle is 20°, helix angle is 21°30'. Allowable torque is 447 N·m (45.6 kgf·m) with backlash of 0.14-0.24 mm. Axial thrust forces are produced. No secondary operations permitted on tooth areas due to induction hardening.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
