Module 2 ground helical gear with 52 teeth, right-hand helix, 25 mm bore, 65 mm hub diameter, 104 mm pitch diameter, 108 mm outside diameter, 16 mm face width, 13 mm hub width, and 29 mm total length, made of SCM440 with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC, conforming to JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976), with a transverse pressure angle of 20° and helix angle of 21°30'. Allowable torque is 326 N·m (33.2 kgf·m) for bending strength and 19.3 N·m for surface durability, with backlash of 0.14-0.24 mm. Axial thrust forces are generated. No secondary operations permitted on hardened tooth areas.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction.
