Module 2 left-handed ground helical gear with 30 teeth, 16 mm face width, 13 mm hub width, 29 mm total length, 18 mm bore, and 50 to 60 HRC tooth surface hardness, made from SCM440 material with induction hardening. The gear has a JIS grade N6 precision rating per JIS B1702-1:1998 and produces axial thrust forces. Backlash is between 0.12 and 0.22 mm, with an allowable torque of 10.1 N·m for bending strength and 10.3 kgf·m for surface durability.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction. Helical gear pairs have the same helix angle but opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand).
