The KKHG1.5-30L is a left-handed ground helical gear with a module of 1.5, 30 teeth, and a bore diameter of 12 mm, hub diameter of 24 mm, pitch diameter of 45 mm, outside diameter of 48 mm, face width of 12 mm, hub width of 12 mm, and total length of 41.6 mm. It is made of SCM440 steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC, meets JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976) precision standards, and has a transverse pressure angle of 20° and a helix angle of 21°30'. The gear has a theoretical backlash of 0.08-0.16 mm and an allowable torque of 4.26 N·m (bending strength) and 4.24 kgf·m (surface durability). Axial thrust forces are generated during operation, and no secondary operations are permitted on the teeth due to induction hardening.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction.
