Module 1 ground helical gear with 45 teeth, right-hand helix, and a 35 mm bore, made of SCM440 steel with induction-hardened tooth surfaces at 50-60 HRC, complying with JIS grade N6 (JIS B1702-1:1998) and JIS grade 2 (JIS B1702:1976). The gear has a 21°30' helix angle, 20° transverse pressure angle, and standard full-depth teeth. The hub width, face width, and total length are 10 mm, 8 mm, and 18 mm respectively. Allowable torque is 26.5 N·m (2.71 kgf·m) based on surface durability, with backlash ranging from 0.08 to 0.16 mm. Secondary operations on the tooth area are prohibited due to induction hardening.

Helical gears are comparable to spur gears, but due to the higher contact ratio, they are quieter, vibrate less, and experience less friction.
