The KCG2-50R1J12 is a right-hand lead worm gear from the KCG series, with a module of 50, 50 teeth, one start, and a 12 mm bore. It features a gray iron wheel, standard full-depth teeth with a 14° 30' pressure angle, and a pitch diameter of 100.21 mm, outside diameter of 104 mm, face width of 22 mm, and hub width of 13 mm. The allowable torque at 30 rpm is 40.3 N·m, with a backlash of 0.10~0.28 mm and a weight of 1.01 kg. The precision grade is KHK W 002 grade 4. The J-series variant is available on request with a lead time of up to five working days.

A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
