KBG2-20R1J12 is a right-hand lead bronze worm wheel with a 20:1 reduction ratio, 20 teeth, 1 start, and a 12 mm bore, designed for use with KSW2 series steel worms. It has a pitch diameter of 40.08 mm, outside diameter of 46 mm, face width of 22 mm, and hub width of 13 mm. The gear operates with a normal pressure angle of 14°30', adheres to KHK W 002 grade 4 precision, and is made of CAC502 material with no heat treatment. The allowable torque at 30 rpm is 12.3 N·m, and backlash is specified between 0.10 and 0.28 mm. Weight is 0.33 kg. The J-series indicates it is an available-on-request

A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
For the pair to mesh, the worm and worm gear must have the same pressure angles, modules, and lead directions (left- or right-hand).
