KAGF6-48R1 is a right-hand lead worm wheel with module 6, 48 teeth, and a single start, engineered for use with KHK worm shafts. It features a standard full-depth tooth profile with a 20° normal pressure angle, made from CAC702 aluminum bronze with a hub of FC200 cast iron. The gear has a pitch diameter of 288 mm, outside diameter of 300 mm, face width of 40 mm, and hub width of 180 mm. It includes a plain bore with H0 fit and exhibits a backlash range of 0.24 to 0.37 mm. Allowable torque at 100 rpm is 1380 N·m, with a weight of 7.58 kg. A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
