KAGF2.5-36R1 is a right-hand lead worm gear with a module of 2.5, 36 teeth, and one start. It has a plain bore with H8 tolerance, a pitch diameter of 90 mm, an outside diameter of 97.5 mm, a face width of 20 mm, and a hub width of 15 mm. The gear is made from CAC702 aluminum bronze, with standard full-depth teeth and a 20° normal pressure angle. The allowable torque at 300 rpm is 69.8 N·m, and the weight is 1.19 kg. Backlash ranges from 0.14 to 0.27 mm. Precision grade is KHK W 002 grade 2.

A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
