KAGDL4-20R1 is a right-hand lead, duplex worm wheel with a module of 4, 20 teeth, and a plain bore of 20 mm. It has a pitch diameter of 80 mm, an outside diameter of 88 mm, a face width of 35 mm, and a hub width of 20 mm. The gear is made from CAC702 aluminum bronze with no heat treatment applied. It conforms to KHK W 002 grade 1 precision and has a normal pressure angle of 17° 30'. The maximum allowable backlash is 0±0.045 mm, and the weight is 1.76 kg.

A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
