KAG3-60R1 is a right-hand helical worm gear with module 3, 60 teeth, and one start, designed for use with a matching worm. The gear has a bore diameter of 85 mm, a pitch diameter of 180 mm, a throat diameter of 186 mm, an outside diameter of 189 mm, and a face width of 25 mm. A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
For the pair to mesh, the worm and worm gear must have the same pressure angles, modules, and lead directions (left- or right-hand).
