KAG3-30R1 is a right-hand lead worm gear with a module of 3, 30 teeth, and one start, designed for use with matching worms. It has a bore diameter of 20 mm, a pitch diameter of 90 mm, a throat diameter of 96 mm, an outside diameter of 99 mm, and a face width of 25 mm. The gear is made from CAC702 aluminum bronze, with no heat treatment applied. It features a hub width of 18 mm, a total length of 43 mm, and a backlash range of 0.16 to 0.29 mm. The allowable torque at 30 rpm is 126 N·m, decreasing to 46.9 N·m at 1800 rpm. The unit weighs 1.46 kg.

A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
