It has a pitch diameter of 90 mm, outside diameter of 94.5 mm, face width of 10 mm, total length of 57.5 mm, and a web thickness of 10 mm. Made from CAC702 aluminum bronze, it has no heat treatment and no specified tooth hardness. The allowable torque at 30 rpm is 75.3 N·m, decreasing with increasing speed. A worm gear pair, or worm gear set, consists of two gears: the worm, which resembles a spiral screw, and the worm gear (aka, worm wheel).
