A 1B 4MYK10025S is a straight-tooth metric miter gear in brass, module 0.5, with 25 teeth, a pitch diameter of 12.5 mm, a bore of 3.0 mm (H8 tolerance), a face width of 8.11 mm, and an overall length of 12 mm; it is sold individually and features a 3 mm set screw.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
