SCS Humidity Indicator Cards are designed to monitor relative humidity levels in environments sensitive to moisture. The cards initially display blue or brown spots, which change to pink or yellow, respectively, when exposed to humidity. If the spots become discolored, they can be reactivated by placing the cards in a dry container with desiccant for 24 hours or by baking them at 180¬8F for three hours. These cards do not have a set lifespan but should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area at a consistent temperature of 75¬8F (24¬8C) to maintain their effectiveness. SCS provides a one-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship, and it is recommended that cards older than one year be tested for reliability.
