The 8BP02 is a standard 2-channel backpanel designed for use with Dataforth's 8B analog I/O modules. It allows for the installation of various 8B modules in a flexible configuration, supporting a mix of different types on the same backpanel. The backpanel can be mounted on a 19-inch metal rack or a DIN-rail, providing versatility in installation options. Each channel features a temperature sensor for cold junction compensation, which is particularly beneficial for thermocouple-input modules. The 8BP02 supports two power supply options: a +5VDC supply or a wide range 7-34VDC supply, with automatic switching between the two. It is rated for operation in temperatures from -40¬8C to +85¬8C and has a relative humidity tolerance of up to 95% non-condensing. The backpanel also includes isolation features, providing 1500Vrms continuous isolation between input and output as well as channel-to-channel isolation. This product is suitable for applications requiring reliable analog signal processing and data acquisition.
The 8BP01 is offered as a 5VDC powered (8BP01-X05) or 7 to 34VDC powered (8BP01-X24) single channel DIN rail mount carrier suitable for any 8B signal conditioner. The 8B carrier can be mounted on any standard DIN rail (EN 50022-35 and EN 50035-G32). The 8BP01 measures only 2.32” x 3.54” x 0.65” (59mm x 90mm x 16.5mm), making it ideal for use in high-density installations (see Figure 1). It has a flammability rating of UL-94 V-0.
