Type 2 Thomson Nyliner plastic sleeve bearings are similar to Type 1 bearings, except they lack the circumferential lubrication groove. Similarly, they have a carbon steel outer sleeve which can be nickel-plated for corrosive environments. They are also available in diameters from 1/4” to 1-1/8".
