Type 1 Thomson Nyliner bearings are plastic sleeve bearings with a carbon steel outer sleeve and a circumferential lubrication groove. Additionally, Type 1 plastic sleeve bearings can be supplied with an optional nickel-plated steel outer sleeves for use in applications that will involve mildly corrosive environments. They are available in diameters from 1/4” to 1-1/8”.
