Fluke RF Generator 6062A

The 6062A is a 2.1 GHz RF Generator from Fluke. An RF generator is a tool engineers use to generate sinusoidal outputs while testing electronic equipment. The output will automatically have its frequency varied or swept between frequencies. A “sweep” is one complete cycle of a frequency variation. Engineers use RF signal generators as test equipment, mostly to measure responses of filters, amplifiers, and electrical components. The instruments gallium arsenide pulse modulator generates fast, high quality pulses for testing of pulsed communication and navigation circuits. The 6062A employs a design that can generate very narrow pulses, limited only by the modulator's 15 ns rise and fall time.
