The 371 is a Curve Tracer from Tektronix. A curve tracer, or curve checker, is a type of electronic test equipment engineers use to analyze semiconductor device characteristics. Curve tracers contain current and voltage sources to stimulate the equipment under test (EUT). A curve tracer applies a swept voltage to two terminals of the EUT, measuring the level of current flowing at each voltage.
Additional Features:
The Tektronix 371 is the industry leader in high power curve tracers is used for testing a wide variety of power semiconductors. The Tektronix 371 performs DC parametric characterization of thyristors, SCRs, IGBTs and power MOSFETs. The high voltage collector mode permits testing the Off-Characteristics of a device up to 3,000 volts. The pulsed high current collector mode provides output current pulses greater than 400 amps peak for testing On-Characteristics.
