PTFE (Teflon) coated Fiberglass Flat Braid Lacing Tape manufactured from high tenacity, continuous filament glass yarn coated with Teflon before braiding. Stays flat for strength and stability. PTFE finish increases strength and abrasion resistance. Will not cut or damage insulation. Meets specifications A-A-52083 and MIL-T-43435 Type IV. See Table 2 below for cross reference to lacing tape specifications.and for finishes available. Temperature range: Glass maintains strength and is stable to 800°F (427°C) A Low Outgassing version of this lacing tape is available in finish C. Low Outgassing lacing tape meets ASTM E 595 specifications as required by NASA.
