3M™ Impact Stripping Tape 500 is a specially compounded light green rubber-backed tape with an acrylic adhesive and easy-release liner. This product is designed for masking and surface protection during dry media blast paint removal. Specially formulated rubber backing designed to withstand impact against common blasting media including aluminum oxide, steel shot, glass bead, and plastic media. Cuts easily, smoothly and cleanly, making it an optimal tape for masking fine details or creating small lettering. The paper release liner is coated with a silicone film for easy removal commonly sought for die cutting applications.
