The T40X3 series of industrial trackballs have CTI's high reliability, large 3.0 inch diameter trackball in a metal panel mount enclosure with three sealed switches and a neoprene gasket, and is ready for panel mounting with six screws. The switches are full travel mechanical switches with gold contacts rated at 5,000,000 cycles, and are protected with a molded polyurethane seal; which in combination with the formed Teflon sealing ring provide NEMA 12 sealing. The 3.0 inch rugged mouse cursors can withstand over 6g forces. The encoder resolution is available as either 1280 or 640 per rotation, or divisions thereof. These precision trackball mouse pointers are complete with an interface PCB and cable compatible with all types of computers. The large ball diameter has substantial rotational inertia, which provides exceptional feel and ease of use, particularly for demanding applications of trackball mouse cursors; such as control rooms, radar sites or air-traffic control.
