Overview
Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for workers who design, fabricate and erect steel structures is the focus of this standard. The term “steel structures” refers to structural members and frames that consist primarily of structural steel components, including the detail parts, welds, bolts or other fasteners required in fabrication and erection. This standard is referenced in the 2010 National Building Code of Canada (NBC).
