Overview In support of Canadian and international industry practices for nuclear power plants, CSA Group has published this new standard, which provides guidance on designing, implementing and managing environmental risk assessments for nuclear facilities, uranium mines and mills. It employs a systematic process that helps identify, quantify and characterize environmental risks posed by contaminants on biological receptors. The standard allows recommendations for further action based on results.
