CSA Group Performance of non-potable water reuse systems B128.3-12 (R2017)

Description
Overview Due to the inherent health risks associated with the use of non-potable water, CSA Group has published CSA B128.3 - Performance of Non-Potable Water Treatment Systems - which specifies water systems requirements for treating greywater or waste water for reuse in other applications. This new standard covers: (a) Non-potable water treatment systems for wastewater or greywater intended for treatment applications with a capacity of 10,000 litres-per-day (2,650 gallons-per-day) or less (b) Site-assembled components included in the non-potable water treatment system (c) Test methods for the performance of the plants and minimum requirements for materials, design and construction, markings, instructions and other documentation. CSA B128.3 complements another CSA Group standard: CAN/CSA-B128.1/B128. 2 - Design and Installation of Non-Potable Water Systems/Maintenance and Field Testing of Non-Potable Water Systems. This dual-standard is an installation guide specifying the design, installation, maintenance and field testing of non-potable water systems. Both standards target manufacturers and other users of non-potable water reuse products and can be used for conformity assessment of products.
