Type EDL Electric Double Layer Capacitors provide a 15 year long life specifically used for battery back-up applications where memory hold-up is critical when battery replacement is necessary. The EDL capacitor is available in horizontal and vertical radial-leaded stacked coin configurations, a cylindrical case with radial leads, and a surface-mount package.
