CoorsTek Magnesia Partially Stabilized Zirconia Technox® 500

Description
Zirconias have a unique crystal structure which combines extreme strength, high fracture toughness, and excellent wear resistance. CoorsTek has engineered transformation toughened formulations with zirconia crystal structures which expand when a micro-crack is formed — preventing further crack growth and arresting brittle failure. CoorsTek zirconias, including our high-performance Technox® zirconia brand, are ideal for extreme mechanical environments, particularly impact prone applications. Certain zirconia compositions provide enhanced fatigue loading resistance. Toughness Mechanical Strength High Heat Resistance Corrosion Resistance Ceramic Expertise CoorsTek helped pioneer technical applications for zirconia and continues to formulate many different zirconias, optimized for a range of application-specific requirements. Our ceramics experts help you select the best material for your application.
