Positech Corporation Vertical Lift Cylinder Pneumatic Model

Positech’s pneumatic Vertical Lift Cylinder (VLC) is ideal for manipulating heavy parts, over-the-assembly line and can assist in handling reach-in operations and can be combined with an overhead rail system or a Positech Articulated Jib Boom. Exceptional off-center payload handling for reach-in applications is derived from the vertical lifter’s heavy-duty industry-leading design, which uses external cylinder tie rods and dual linear bearings. Additional safety circuits can be added to prevent the accidental release of a part or a sudden drop with loss of air supply when an end effector is designed to be used with this lift assist. This vertical lifter is available in four model configurations and provides up to 2,500 pounds of payload capacity.
