The C-frame of this end effector reaches around from one side of the part. Pads grip the part at 90 and 180 degree positions and the top acts as a down stop to help guide the end effector when gripping. This style of gripper is ideal for reaching into a rack or to place parts onto a rack such as a shipping pallet or a rack designed for a paint line. Safety features can be incorperated into the grab to prevent to accidental release of a part or a two handed grip function to ensure an operators hands are in a safe location.
