The XFL2005-221MEC is a shielded, ultra-miniature power inductor with a 2 mm × 2 mm footprint and 0.5 mm height, designed for high-current, low-profile applications. It has an inductance of 0.22 µH ±20%, a DC resistance of 0.111 Ω maximum, a saturation current of 1.20 A at 20% inductance drop, and a rated current of 1.48 A for a 40°C temperature rise. The component operates from -40°C to +85°C ambient with a maximum part temperature of +125°C, and is RoHS compliant with tin-silver-copper terminations. It features composite construction for soft saturation and minimal audible noise, and meets MSL 1 moisture sensitivity with tape-and-reel packaging for automated assembly.
