The MSD7342 series consists of shielded coupled inductors designed for flyback, SEPIC, buck, and Zeta converter applications, featuring tight coupling (k ≥ 0.97) and 200 Vrms winding-to-winding isolation. The MSD7342-824MLC variant has an inductance of 82 μH per winding, a maximum DCR of 0.680 Ω, and a typical SRF of 6.2 MHz. It supports a DC saturation current of 0.90 A at 10% inductance drop with both windings, and an RMS current rating of 0.67 A for one winding. The part is mounted in a surface-mount package measuring 7.5 mm x 7.5 mm x 4.6 mm and meets AEC-Q200 Grade 3 qualification for operation from -40°C to +85°C. Termination is RoHS compliant matte tin over nickel over phosphor bronze.
